Trip Overview

The program is designed for a full four-day game drive, one day of which you will spend in the Tarangire, then Lake Manyara, in the Ngorongoro, and two days in the Serengeti. Serengeti National Park is considered a treasure of the world’s wildlife. The unique climatic conditions allow you to enjoy the incredible scenery, and you’ll be able to see resting lions, the secretive leopard, and graceful antelopes. This itinerary gives more chances to see the rare representatives of the African fauna: pythons,  gemsboks, elands, servals, caracals, secretary birds, crocodiles, black rhinos, and many others.

Day-to-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Welcome to Tanzania

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or other border posts, you will be greeted by a Nala Adventures representative will then drive you to your accommodation in Arusha, where you can enjoy the rhythm of nature and African drum beats. 

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park for Game Viewing and Photographing with a Picnic Lunch. Famous for its massive baobab trees, Home of the African elephants (with a higher concentration than any other park), and tree-climbing pythons, Tarangire National Park is small but still home to a significant wildlife population, with a density of wildlife matched only by Ngorongoro. Evening drive to Camp / Lodge for Dinner and Overnight on a full board basis.

Day 3: Tarangire - Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at the camp, departs for Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge en route to game viewing and photographing with a picnic lunch. The oldest and most popular National Park, a World Heritage Site recently proclaimed as 7th Seven Wonders of the World, Serengeti is famed for its Annual wildebeest migration and an uncountable number of predators. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge / Camp on a full board basis. 

Day 4: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for full day game drive and photographing with the picnic lunch. Later drive back to the cam for dinner and overnight at Camp / Lodge on full board basis.

Day 5: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending to the Crater for game viewing and photographing with a picnic lunch. The largest collapsed unbroken caldera in the world with a high concentration of big game wildlife. Ngorongoro is a special place which is a Conservation Area, not a National Park; this means that the whole area is managed for both the animals and the local Maasai people who graze their cattle alongside the indigenous wildlife. Proceed with your game drive in this so-called Man and Biosphere Reserve. Dinner and overnight at Camp / Lodge on a full board basis. 

Day 6: Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Arusha

On this day, it is best to leave the hotel as early as possible so you can see the variety of animals that are only active during the morning hours. At 6:30 AM, you will set off for Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and after about an hour, you will already be inside the crater.
